Crystal Palace score two late to rally past Watford
Crystal Palace dramatically snatched all three points at the death as they beat Watford 2-1 at Selhurst Park on Tuesday night.
Palace's Bakary Sako tapped into an open goal in the 89th minute to level the match after Heurelho Gomes fumbled a Wilfried Zaha shot. The Eagles weren't done, however, as James McArthur kept his cool to slot home a Zaha cross in the 92nd minute.
Watford (6-4-7) had taken the lead in the third minute thanks to a Darryl Janmaat header at the back post, and looked in cruise control for most of the match until Tom Cleverley was sent off in the 87th minute with a second yellow card in 10 minutes.
The win for Roy Hodgson's men finally lifts the Eagles (3-5-9) out of the relegation zone and into 17th place for the moment.
Marco Silva's Watford, meanwhile, have dropped two straight and three of four.
