Burnley jumped up to fourth in the Premier League table on Tuesday night with a 1-0 win over Stoke City.

Substitute Ashley Barnes popped up with a late winner with just a minute of the game remaining to send Sean Dyche's men into the Champions League places for the moment. The Clarets (9-4-4) have won two in a row and six of their last eight.

It was harsh on Stoke (4-4-9), who had been the better side in the second half but a combination of wasteful finishing and astute goalkeeping from Nick Pope kept the Potters out en route to their fourth loss in five games.
