Analysis: Olivo left after batting practice Friday before the Marlins' game against St. Louis. Manager Mike Redmond says he was apparently unhappy that he had seen little playing time recently. Outfielder Jordan Brown was recalled Saturday from Triple-A New Orleans to take Olivo's roster spot.

Analysis: Olivo played for the Marlins in 2006-07. He played for Seattle last year and hit .222 with 12 home runs in 87 games. The Marlins have been in the market for a backup catcher to Rob Brantly since Jeff Mathis broke his collarbone early in spring training.
